This is a list of side projects I've worked on.
In terms of quality, they range from fully working applications that I'm actually quite proud of down to quick proof of concepts that barely work.
This website! The idea was to create a central hub for myself that was available on the internet. I wanted a lot of flexibility on how the website is generated so tried to avoid pre-built content management systems. Now I'm basically building my own basic CMS instead.
The goal of this project was to make a browser-based tool that would edit photos using AI. A user would upload an image, describe how they wanted it to be edited in text and that would be done. I dropped this project when Photoshop released these exact features.
This project was my first attempt at machine learning. The idea was to create a model which can take a video of some British Sign Language and convert it to text. The text is then overlaid onto the video in real-time so that it is essentially live translating sign language.
Where to meet
One of my very first projects. This application would find the best place for a group of people to meet. It takes the starting address of up-to 10 people and a desired travel time then calculates where all the people can get to within that time. It would then display suggested places in that area for you to visit
